Leukomed skin sensitive is a sterile wound dressing with wound pad for light to moderately exuding wounds such as cuts or abrasions. It is particularly suitable for fragile or already damaged skin. The skin-friendly silicone application enables a secure hold and gentle removal of the dressing. The dressing is absorbent and sterile. It has a high water vapour permeability and can absorb wound secretions from light to moderately exuding wounds. It is also suitable for covering wounds after surgery. Application is simple: remove the first backing sheet, place the dressing on the wound, remove the second backing sheet and smooth the dressing. The wound dressing is suitable for elderly patients, infants, patients taking certain medications, patients with frequent dressing changes and patients with sensitive skin.
