PARACETAMOL ADGC® 500 mg tablets are a painkilling and fever-reducing medicine.It is used for the symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain and/or fever.The medication is suitable for children aged 4 and over and adults and is lactose-free.

Ingredients

The active ingredient in PARACETAMOL ADGC® 500 mg tablets is paracetamol.One tablet contains 500 mg paracetamol.The other ingredients are Povidone K 30, corn starch, sodium caboxymethyl starch, pre-gelatinized corn starch, stearic acid (Ph. Eur.), propyl 4-hydroxybenzoate and ethyl 4-hydroxybenzoate.

Areas of application

PARACETAMOL ADGC® 500 mg tablets are used for the symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain and/or fever.The drug is suitable for children over 4 years old and adults.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, the product should not be used.

Dosage

The dosage of PARACETAMOL ADGC® 500 mg tablets depends on the patient's body weight and age.As a rule, a single dose of 10-15 mg/kg body weight is recommended, with the maximum total daily dose not exceeding 60 mg/kg body weight.

The respective dosage interval should not be less than 6 hours.If symptoms last longer than 3 days, a doctor should be consulted.

The tablets are swallowed whole with plenty of liquid.Taking it after meals may result in a delayed onset of action.

Patient information

If you are a chronic alcoholic, suffer from impaired liver function, have a previously damaged kidney or are taking medication that impairs liver function, you should speak to your doctor or pharmacist before taking PARACETAMOL ADGC® 500 mg tablets.

If your symptoms worsen or do not improve after 3 days, you should see a doctor.

To prevent the risk of overdose, it should be ensured that other medicines used at the same time do not contain paracetamol.

Pregnancy

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.

If necessary, paracetamol can be taken during pregnancy after carefully weighing the benefit-risk ratio.You should use the lowest possible dose that relieves your pain and/or fever and for the shortest possible period of time and not in combination with other medicines.

Paracetamol passes into breast milk.Since there are no known adverse consequences for the infant, it is generally not necessary to interrupt breastfeeding.

Notes

PARACETAMOL ADGC® 500 mg tablets contain propyl 4-hydroxybenzoate and ethyl 4-hydroxybenzoate (parabens).

Please do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the pack or outer packaging.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.
