Ichthralettes 200 mg enteric-coated tablets are used to treat rosacea, including excessive sebum production by the skin. The tablets contain the active ingredient sodium bituminosulfonate, which has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antifungal properties. Side effects rarely occur. The dosage should be as stated in the package leaflet and the duration of treatment should not exceed 6 weeks. Pregnant and breastfeeding women and people with certain allergies should not take the tablets. Interactions with other medicines are possible.
