Ginkobil ratiopharm 120 mg is a herbal medicinal product used for the symptomatic treatment of brain-organic performance disorders. It contains a dry extract from the leaves of the ginkgo tree and works in three ways: It promotes blood circulation in the finest vessels, supplies the brain cells with nutrients and oxygen and improves concentration as well as memory. The medicine is used to support the symptomatic treatment of dementia in the elderly and can also be used for dizziness due to circulatory disorders or age-related regression. It also helps to prolong pain-free walking distance in arterial occlusive disease in the limbs. The recommended dosage is 1 tablet twice daily for adults. An overdose may cause gastrointestinal discomfort, headache and allergic skin reactions. A doctor or pharmacist should be consulted before taking the medicine.
