These capsules contain 12 vitamins and 5 minerals and trace elements for increased requirements. A balanced diet at this stage of life is important, and these capsules provide essential nutrients such as folic acid, B vitamins, calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc and iodine per daily serving (2 capsules). Folic acid is a vital vitamin that has a function in cell division and contributes to the growth of maternal tissue during pregnancy. Iodine plays a role in the normal production of thyroid hormones, which have important metabolic functions. Iron supports the normal formation of red blood cells and the normal transport of oxygen in the body. The requirement doubles during pregnancy. Zinc contributes to the normal function of the immune system and to the protection of cells against oxidative stress. Magnesium contributes to normal energy metabolism and normal function of the nervous system and muscles. These capsules are a food supplement and should not be used as a substitute for a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake.
