Gelaspon Strip is a sterile, absorbable gelatine sponge used for the care of small wounds. It has a fine-pored structure that activates blood clotting and a high absorbency for blood and wound secretions. Gelaspon is also well tolerated by the tissue as it has a neutral pH value. This sponge is suitable for various applications such as nosebleeds, minor abrasions and cuts, and after tooth extractions. It can be easily removed from superficial wounds.
