Askina Transsorbent Border is a hydroactive wound dressing with an adhesive border.This dressing consists of a foam wound dressing equipped with a hydrogel layer and a fixation edge.It is particularly suitable for wounds with moderate exudation.

Properties

The Askina Transsorbent Border does not dissolve after liquid absorption, so no residue is left in the wound.Its optimal exudate management means it can be worn for a long time.The dressing maintains an ideally moist wound environment and remains dimensionally stable and flexible, even after liquid has been absorbed.It also has very good retention properties, which reduces the risk of skin maceration.The bandage is soft, supple and adheres well.Dressing changes are atraumatic.

Areas of application

Askina Transorbent Border is used for pressure sores, leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, split-thickness skin donor sites and traumatic wounds.
