Instructions for use of Askina Transsorbent Border

Askina Transsorbent Border is a hydroactive wound dressing with an adhesive border.This dressing consists of a foam wound dressing equipped with a hydrogel layer and a fixation edge.It is particularly suitable for wounds with moderate exudation.

The bandage does not dissolve after liquid absorption, which means no residue is left in the wound.Thanks to optimal exudate management, the bandage can be worn for a long time.It maintains an ideally moist wound environment and remains dimensionally stable and flexible, even after fluid absorption.It also has very good retention properties, which reduces the risk of skin maceration.The bandage is soft, supple and adheres well.Dressing changes are atraumatic.

Askina Transorbent Border is used for pressure sores, leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, split-thickness skin donor sites and traumatic wounds.

No prescription is required for this product.As a dressing, it can be prescribed and reimbursed for each patient.

The pack size is 5 pieces, each 14 cm x 14 cm.
