Deacura 5 mg tablets contain the active ingredient biotin.This vitamin supplement is used to prevent and treat biotin deficiency.For prevention, less than 0.2 mg of biotin daily is sufficient.It is also used in the treatment of biotin deficiency as part of the very rare biotin-dependent multiple carboxylase deficiency.

Application and dosage

Deacura 5 mg is taken whole with sufficient liquid.The usual dose is half to one tablet daily (corresponding to 2.5 to 5 mg of biotin).To treat multiple carboxylase deficiency, one to two tablets (corresponding to 5 to 10 mg of biotin) can be taken daily.The duration of use depends on the course of the underlying disease and is determined by your doctor.If you take it for life, as in biotin-dependent multiple carboxylase deficiency, you should speak to your doctor regularly.

Side effects

Like all medicines, Deacura 5 mg can have side effects, although not everyone gets them.Allergic skin reactions have been observed very rarely.If you notice any side effects, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Composition

Deacura 5 mg contains the active ingredient biotin in a dosage of 5 mg per tablet.The other ingredients are microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, povidone K 30, crospovidone and magnesium stearate.

Storage

Keep the medicine out of the reach and reach of children.Do not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the package.The shelf life after opening the container is 9 months.
