What is yarrow tea and what is it used for?
Yarrow tea is a herbal medicine that is used for digestive problems and to stimulate appetite.It is taken in the form of a tea infusion.The areas of application include loss of appetite and mild, cramp-like complaints in the gastrointestinal area.No prescription is required for this product.
How to use yarrow tea?
A tea infusion is prepared for use.To do this, pour boiling water (approx. 150ml) over a teaspoonful (approx. 1.5g) of yarrow herb or the equivalent amount in several tea bags and, if necessary, strain it through a tea strainer after about 10 to 15 minutes.To stimulate the appetite, the tea is taken three times a day, half an hour before meals.If you have digestive problems, drink it after meals.
Side effects
Possible side effects include skin hypersensitivity reactions.If symptoms persist for a long time or recur regularly, you should consult a doctor.
Contraindications
Yarrow tea should not be used if you are hypersensitive to yarrow and other daisy plants such as arnica, chamomile or marigold.There are no sufficient studies available for use during pregnancy, breastfeeding or in children under 12 years of age.These groups of people should therefore not use yarrow herb.

Yarrow tea should be stored away from light and moisture.

Yarrow tea contains yarrow herb as an active ingredient.Yarrow is a perennial herb with finely pinnate leaves and small white flowers that grow in umbels.It occurs in Europe and Western Asia.The main ingredients are alkaloids, flavonoids and essential oil.Yarrow stimulates the appetite, stimulates the flow of bile and relieves cramps.The essential oils have an anti-inflammatory effect and inhibit bacterial growth.
Important notes
Caution is advised if you are allergic to ascorbic acid, daisy plants, spices, essential oils and turpentine oil.If symptoms last longer than a week or recur periodically, you should consult a doctor.
