Active ingredients and ingredients

Dosage and application
Always take Ferro Sanol gyn exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.The usual dose for adults and children aged 6 years and over is 1 hard capsule daily.If there is a severe iron deficiency, adults and adolescents aged 15 and over or with a body weight of 50 kg can take 2 to 3 hard capsules daily in the initial phase.The capsules should be taken whole with sufficient water, either in the morning on an empty stomach or approximately 2 hours before or after a meal.The duration of use is determined by the doctor and can be between 3 and 6 months.
Side effects
Like all medicines, Ferro Sanol gyn can also have side effects.Common side effects include gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, heartburn, diarrhea and constipation.Reversible tooth discoloration can rarely occur.If you notice any side effects, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Contraindications
Ferro Sanol gyn must not be taken if you are allergic to iron, folic acid or any of the other ingredients, if you have a narrowing of the esophagus, if you suffer from a hereditary iron storage disease (hemochromatosis), if you suffer from iron overload or iron utilization disorders, if you receive repeated or chronic blood transfusions or if you have megaloblastic anemia as a result of an isolated vitamin B12 deficiency.Children under 6 years of age should not take the medicine.
Special Notes
Particular caution is required in existing diseases of the digestive tract, in elderly patients and patients with severe kidney or liver dysfunction.Avoid taking iron at the same time as certain foods and drinks such as coffee, tea, milk and cola drinks, as these can inhibit the absorption of iron.Dark discoloration of the stool may occur, which is not due to gastrointestinal bleeding.
Storage
