Area of application
Transpulmin cold balm for children is a herbal medicine that is used for colds in the respiratory tract with viscous mucus.It can be applied to the skin or used for inhalation.The balm is suitable for children aged two and over for rubbing and for children aged six and over for inhalation.

1 Gram of the cream contains 100 milligrams of eucalyptus oil and 30 milligrams of pine needle oil.In addition, the preparation contains the following excipients: decyl oleate, emulsifying glycerol monostearate (type II, 32/36, potassium salts), colloidal silicon dioxide, yellow petroleum jelly, purified water, methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate, sodium methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate, propyl 4-hydroxybenzoate and sodium propyl 4-hydroxybenzoate.
Contraindications
The medicine must not be used if you are hypersensitive to the active ingredients eucalyptus and/or pine needle oil and cineole or to any of the other ingredients of the preparation.The balm should also not be used in cases of bronchial asthma, bronchial catarrh, whooping cough, pseudocroup or other respiratory diseases with pronounced hypersensitivity of the airways.In addition, it must not be used on damaged skin or on infants and small children up to the age of two.Its use is also not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Dosage
Always use the medicine exactly as directed.The dosage depends on the tube size and the age of the user.For inhalation in children aged six and over and adults, the single dose is 3 to 7 centimeters, depending on tube size and age, and is applied three times a day.For rubbing in children from two years of age and adults, the single dose is 2 to 7 centimeters, depending on the tube size and age, and is applied four times a day.The duration of use depends on the type, severity and course of the disease.You should not use the medicine for longer than 3 to 5 days without medical advice.
Intake
The balm can be used as a rub on the back and/or chest.For inhalation, the ointment strand is poured with water that is no longer boiling and the vapors are inhaled for a few minutes.Be sure to keep your eyes closed or covered during inhalation to avoid irritation of the conjunctiva.
Patient information
Avoid contact with the eyes and do not apply the balm to large areas.Apply it only to the chest and back and not to mucous membranes.Wash your hands thoroughly after use and do not use the balm internally.For small children aged two and over, you should not apply the balm to the face area, especially the nose.Make sure that children cannot come into contact with the rubbed skin areas with their hands.Because of the risk of scalding from hot water, children should never inhale unattended.
Pregnancy
The medicine should not be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding due to insufficient examinations.
