Areas of application

Transpulmin cold balm for children is a herbal medicine that is used to relieve symptoms of colds in the respiratory tract with viscous mucus.It can be used both for external use and for inhalation.The balm is especially suitable for children from the age of two, while inhalation is only recommended from the age of six.

Mode of action

Transpulmin Cold Balm for Children contains a blend of essential oils that provide natural relief from cold symptoms.Eucalyptus oil has an expectorant, virus-inhibiting effect and improves blood circulation.Pine needle oil has antibacterial properties, relaxes the respiratory tract and loosens tough mucus.This combination helps to clear the respiratory tract and increase well-being.

Active ingredients and ingredients

1 Gram of Transpulmin cold balm for children contains 100 mg eucalyptus oil and 30 mg pine needle oil.The balm also contains the following other ingredients: methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate (E 218), propyl 4-hydroxybenzoate (E 216), sodium methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate (E 219), sodium propyl 4-hydroxybenzoate (E 217), emulsifying glycerol monostearate (type II, 32/36, potassium salts), decyl oleate, yellow petroleum jelly, highly dispersedSilicon dioxide and purified water.

Contraindications

Transpulmin cold balm for children must not be used in cases of hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients, bronchial asthma, whooping cough, pseudocroup or other respiratory diseases with pronounced hypersensitivity of the respiratory tract.It is also not suitable for use on damaged skin, skin and childhood diseases with rashes, infants and small children under two years of age, or for inhalation in children under six years of age.The balm should also not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Dosage

For inhalation in children aged six and over and adults, a dosage of 3-4 cm or 4-5 cm ointment strand, depending on the age group, three times a day is recommended.The strand of ointment is poured with water that is no longer boiling and the vapors are inhaled for a few minutes.When rubbing, the balm is applied to the back and/or chest four times a day in a dosage of 2-3 cm, 3-4 cm or 4-5 cm, depending on the age group.

Application

Patient information

The duration of use depends on the type, severity and course of the disease.No prescription is required for this product.Care should be taken to ensure that children do not inhale unattended and that their hands are cleaned thoroughly after use.The balm should not be used internally and children should not let their hands come into contact with the rubbed areas of skin.

Pregnancy

Transpulmin cold balm for children should not be used during pregnancy as there are no sufficient studies on its use in pregnant women.Use is contraindicated during breastfeeding.
