Myrrh tincture Hofmann's is a herbal medicine that is used for the local treatment of mild inflammation of the mouth and throat mucosa.The tincture contains myrrh as the active ingredient in a ratio of 1:5, with ethanol 90% (V/V) serving as the extractant.No prescription is required for this product.

Areas of application

Myrrh tincture Hofmann's is used to treat inflammation of the mouth and throat, including inflammation of the gums (gingivitis).If symptoms persist for a long time or if symptoms worsen, a doctor should be consulted.

Application and dosage

Myrrh tincture Hofmann's should be used exactly as directed.Adolescents aged 12 and over and adults can dab the affected mucous membrane areas with the tincture 2 to 3 times a day or add 5-10 drops to a glass of water and gargle or rinse with it.The tincture should not be swallowed.It should not be used for more than a week without medical advice.
