Mucosolvan cough syrup contains the active ingredient ambroxol hydrochloride and is used for the expectorant treatment of acute and chronic diseases of the bronchi and lungs with thick mucus.No prescription is required for this product.The juice helps to loosen mucus and clear the bronchi, making it easier to cough up and allowing you to breathe better again.

Ingredients

The cough syrup contains the following active ingredients and excipients: ambroxol hydrochloride (30 mg), ambroxol (27.36 mg), benzoic acid (2.5 mg), hyetellose, sucralose, natural and nature-identical flavorings, propylene glycol (28.75 mg) and purified water.

Application and dosage

The cough syrup can be taken with or without meals.To do this, use the included measuring cup and rinse it with warm water after use.The recommended dosage is as follows:

Infants under 2 years: 1.25 ml twice daily, only as directed by a doctor.Children from 2-5 years: 1.25 ml three times a day. Children from 6-12 years: 2.5 ml two to three times a day. Adolescents from 12 years and adults: 5 ml three times a day, after two to three days 5 ml twice a day.

Contraindications and side effects

Storage

The medicine may be used for a maximum of 6 months after opening and must be stored at room temperature.
