General information about Ardeyhepan Coated Tablets
Ardeyhepan is a herbal medicine that is used as a supportive treatment for chronic inflammatory liver diseases, liver cirrhosis and toxic liver damage.The active ingredient in Ardeyhepan is milk thistle fruit dry extract.No prescription is required for this product.

Ardeyhepan is used as a supportive treatment for various liver diseases.These include chronic inflammatory liver disease, liver cirrhosis and liver damage caused by liver toxins.
Dosage and application
The recommended dose for adults and adolescents aged 12 and over is 1 to 2 coated tablets twice daily.The tablets should be taken with sufficient liquid.The duration of use is determined by the attending physician.If the symptoms persist despite taking Ardeyhepan, a doctor should be consulted.
Composition
Each coated tablet contains 162.5 to 250 mg of dry milk thistle fruit extract, equivalent to 105 mg of silymarin.The other ingredients include lactose monohydrate, crospovidone, microcrystalline cellulose, cellulose powder, colloidal silicon dioxide, carboxymethyl starch sodium (type A), stearic acid, magnesium stearate, basic butyl methacrylate copolymer, sucrose, talc, calcium carbonate, arabic gum, tragacanth, quinoline yellow, indigo carmine, titanium dioxide, montan glycol wax, castor oil andspray-dried glucose syrup.
For diabetics, taking one coated Ardeyhepan tablet should be counted as 0.02 bread units (BE).
Storage
Ardeyhepan should be kept out of the reach of children and not stored above 25°C.The medicine must not be used after the expiry date stated on the outer carton and container.
Contraindications
Ardeyhepan must not be used if you are hypersensitive to the ingredients.It should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding.Children under 12 years of age must not take the medicine.
Side effects
Possible side effects include gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea and diarrhea, as well as skin hypersensitivity reactions such as rash, itching and attacks of shortness of breath.
Important notes
Caution is advised if you are allergic to talc, arabic gum, peanuts, soy, legumes, lupinia, quinoline yellow and indigo carmine.There may be medicines with which interactions occur.Therefore, before starting treatment with a new medicine, you should tell your doctor or pharmacist any other medicines you are already using.
