Instructions for use for Neuro STADA film-coated tablets

Neuro STADA 100 mg/100 mg film-coated tablets contain the active ingredients thiamine (vitamin B1) and pyridoxine (vitamin B6).This medicine is available without a prescription and is used to treat neurological systemic diseases caused by proven deficiencies of vitamins B1 and B6.

Areas of application

Neuro STADA film-coated tablets are used for nerve diseases caused by a proven deficiency of vitamins B1 and B6.

Dosage and application

Adults take 1 film-coated tablet 1 to 3 times a day, corresponding to 100-300 mg of vitamin B1 and vitamin B6 per day.The film-coated tablets should be swallowed whole before or after meals with sufficient liquid, such as a glass of water.

The duration of use should be checked by a doctor after 4 weeks of therapy to determine whether continued use in high doses is necessary.Please talk to your doctor if you feel that the effect is too strong or too weak.

Storage

Keep Neuro STADA film-coated tablets out of the reach of children and do not store the medicine above 30°C.Store the tablets in the original packaging to protect them from moisture.Do not throw away medicines via wastewater or household waste.Ask your pharmacist how to throw away medicine when you no longer use it.

Composition

The active ingredients in Neuro STADA film-coated tablets are thiamine chloride hydrochloride (vitamin B1) and pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6).Each film-coated tablet contains 100 mg thiamine chloride hydrochloride and 100 mg pyridoxine hydrochloride.

The other ingredients are microcrystalline cellulose, gelatin, hypromellose, macrogol 6000, magnesium stearate, pre-gelatinized corn starch, highly dispersed silicon dioxide, talc and titanium dioxide (E171).

Mode of action

Thiamine (vitamin B1) is essential for the functioning of the nervous system and plays an important role in carbohydrate metabolism.Pyridoxine (vitamin B6) controls various metabolic processes, including the production of protein components and nervous system messengers.
