Ibuprofen AbZ is an anti-inflammatory, antipyretic and pain-relieving medicine that belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs/anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).It is used for the short-term symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain such as headaches, toothaches and period pains as well as fever.

Ibuprofen AbZ is used to treat mild to moderate pain and fever.These include headaches, toothaches and period pains.The medicine is available without a prescription.
Dosage and application
Always take Ibuprofen AbZ exactly according to the package leaflet or after consulting your doctor or pharmacist.The recommended dose depends on body weight and age:
For children between 6 and 9 years (20-29 kg body weight) the single dose is 1 film-coated tablet, the maximum daily dose is 3 film-coated tablets.For children between 10 and 11 years (30-39 kg body weight), the single dose is also 1 film-coated tablet, but the maximum daily dose is 4 film-coated tablets.Adolescents aged 12 and over and adults (body weight from 40 kg) can take 1 to 2 film-coated tablets as a single dose; the maximum daily dose is 6 film-coated tablets.
Wait at least 6 hours between doses if you have taken the maximum single dose.The lowest effective dose should be used for the shortest duration necessary to relieve symptoms.
Take the film-coated tablets whole with plenty of liquid.You can take the tablets with or without meals, but for patients with sensitive stomachs it is recommended to take the tablets with meals.
If you feel that the effect is too strong or too weak, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.Do not increase the dosage on your own if you feel you are not getting adequate pain relief.
Overdose
If you have taken more Ibuprofen AbZ than you should, or if children have accidentally taken the medicine, always contact a doctor or hospital in your area to get an assessment of the risk and advice on further treatment.
Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, stomach pain, vomiting, headache, ringing in the ears, confusion, and trembling eyes.Bleeding in the gastrointestinal tract is also possible.At high doses, drowsiness, dizziness, chest pain, heart palpitations, fainting, cramps, weakness and dizziness, blood in the urine, liver and kidney dysfunction, decreased breathing, drop in blood pressure, blue-red coloring of the skin and mucous membranes, freezing and breathing problems have been reported.
Forgot to take it
Do not take a double dose if you forget to take the previous dose.Continue taking as normal at the next prescribed time.
Storage
Keep this medicine out of the reach and reach of children.Do not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the carton and blister packs.This medicine does not require any special storage conditions.
Composition
The active ingredient is ibuprofen.Each film-coated tablet contains 200 mg ibuprofen.The other ingredients are pre-gelatinized corn starch, hypromellose, croscarmellose sodium, stearic acid, colloidal silicon dioxide, macrogol 8000 and titanium dioxide.
Contraindications
Ibuprofen AbZ must not be taken if you are allergic to ibuprofen or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.The medicine should also not be taken if you have existing or recurrent gastric/duodenal ulcers or bleeding in the past, if you have a history of gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation in connection with previous therapy with NSAIDs, if you have cerebral hemorrhages or other active bleeding, if you have severe liver or kidney dysfunction, if you have severe heart failure and in the last trimester of pregnancy.
Side effects
Possible side effects include gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, heartburn, flatulence, diarrhea, constipation, abdominal pain, gastrointestinal bleeding, tarry stools, gastritis, and digestive tract ulcers.Other possible side effects include headache, dizziness, tiredness, insomnia, irritability, agitation, skin hypersensitivity reactions such as rash and itching, attacks of shortness of breath and visual disturbances.
Important notes
If you have pain or fever, do not use for longer than stated in the package leaflet without medical advice. The ability to react can also be impaired when used as intended, especially in higher doses or in combination with alcohol.Pay particular attention when driving or operating machines.
