Leukomed T offers two possible applications.On the one hand, it is used to secure catheters, compresses and other medical aids in a waterproof and germ-proof manner.On the other hand, it protects wounds that no longer secrete from friction and shear forces.The partial adhesive application ensures breathability and reduces the risk of maceration.The high water vapor permeability prevents moisture accumulation, which ensures safe use.The highly flexible, waterproof film offers a high level of comfort and adapts to joints and extremities like a second skin.Leukomed T is sterile and offers reliable protection against bacteria and germs.The rounded corners allow for secure fixation, and the transparency allows continuous inspection of the wound or fixation.The intuitive application system with the red stripe makes it quick and easy to use, even with gloves.

Leukomed T consists of a transparent and extra-thin polyurethane film that is partially coated with a polyacrylate adhesive.It is latex free.

Areas of application

Leukomed T can be used for the waterproof fixation of intravenous catheters, both peripherally and centrally.It is suitable for protecting non-secreting wounds and as a secondary dressing for weakly secreting wounds.It can also be used for supportive prophylaxis of skin areas at risk of pressure sores.

The duration of use is up to 7 days.
