Areas of application

Hydrogen peroxide solution 3% Fagron is used to clean wounds and as a mouth disinfectant for bad breath, bleeding gums and inflammation of the oral mucosa.After dilution with water, it is also suitable for cleaning wounds.

Dosage instructions and method of application

Unless otherwise prescribed, the solution should be diluted 5 to 10 times with water before use, about 1 to 2 tablespoons in a glass of water.Use in closed body cavities should be avoided to prevent the risk of gas embolism.

Contraindications

In the case of a very rare, genetic catalase deficiency (acatalasemia), the effect of hydrogen peroxide solution 3% is reduced.

Ingredients

100 g of the solution contains 3 g of hydrogen peroxide and water.The solution is stabilized with phosphoric acid (AB.).

Notes

The product should not be stored above 25°C.It bleaches textiles and must be kept away from children.After the expiry of the usability period, it may no longer be used.No prescription is required for this product.
