Areas of application

Fagron hydrogen peroxide solution 3% is used to clean wounds and as a mouth disinfectant for bad breath, bleeding gums and inflammation of the oral mucosa.The solution can be used for these purposes after dilution with water.

Dosage instructions and method of application

Unless otherwise prescribed, the 3% hydrogen peroxide solution should be diluted 5 to 10 times before use.This corresponds to about 1 to 2 tablespoons in a glass of water.Use in closed body cavities should be avoided to avoid the risk of gas embolism.

Contraindications

In the case of a very rare, genetic catalase deficiency (acatalasemia), the effect of the hydrogen peroxide solution 3% is reduced.

Ingredients

100 Grams of the solution contains 3 grams of hydrogen peroxide and water.The solution is stabilized with phosphoric acid (AB.).

Instructions for storage and handling

The hydrogen peroxide solution 3% should not be stored above 25°C.It bleaches textiles and should therefore be handled carefully.It must also be kept away from children.After the expiration date, the solution should no longer be used.
