Application and dosage

The recommended dose for adults and children over 12 years of age is 1 to 2 chewable tablets, taken several times daily as needed.No more than 8 chewable tablets (equivalent to 6400 mg Magaldrate) should be taken per day.The chewable tablets should be chewed well and then washed down with a little liquid or sucked.

Riopan Stomach Tablets Mint should only be used for short-term treatment of symptoms.If symptoms persist for more than 2 weeks, a doctor should be consulted.Persistent or recurring symptoms could indicate a serious illness.In this case, you should see a doctor immediately.

Composition

The active ingredient in Riopan Stomach Tablets Mint is Magaldrat, with each chewable tablet containing 800 mg Magaldrat.The other ingredients include sorbitol, macrogol 4000, calcium behenate, maltol, spearmint flavor, menthol flavor, maltodextrin, gum arabic (E 414) and propylene glycol (E 1520).

Storage

The tablets should be kept out of the reach of children and not stored above 25°C.The expiry date on the folding box and container should be observed.Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater.Ask your pharmacy about the correct disposal method.

Special Notes

Riopan Stomach Tablets Mint contain sorbitol.People with an intolerance to fructose should take this into account.There may be medicines with which interactions occur.Tell your doctor or pharmacist about all the medicines you take.Lemonade, orange juice, lemon juice, fruit juice, wine, and citric acid should not be taken with the medication.

Contraindications

Riopan Stomach Tablets Mint should not be taken if there is hypersensitivity to Magaldrat or any of the other ingredients.If you have impaired kidney function, the medicine should only be taken after consulting a doctor.Children under 12 years of age should generally not use the medicine.Pregnant women should only take the medicine after consulting a doctor.According to current knowledge, there is no evidence against its use during breastfeeding.
