Instructions for use of Natubiotin 10 mg forte tablets

Natubiotin 10 mg forte is a vitamin preparation that is used to prevent biotin deficiency.The active ingredient biotin, also known as vitamin B7 or vitamin H, is a water-soluble vitamin and part of the vitamin B complex.It is particularly needed for the functioning of the metabolism, nerves, digestion and for the heart and circulation.No prescription is required for this product.

Areas of application

Natubiotin 10 mg forte is used to prevent biotin deficiency.For prevention, less than 0.2 mg of biotin per day is sufficient.The product is suitable for children aged 6 and over and adults.

Dosage and application

The usual dosage is one tablet daily, regardless of meals.The tablets should be swallowed whole with sufficient liquid.The duration of use depends on individual needs and should be done in consultation with a doctor.Overdose is not known, but the recommended dosage should not be exceeded without consulting a doctor.

Contraindications

Natubiotin 10 mg forte must not be taken if you are hypersensitive to biotin or any of the other ingredients of the preparation.Children under 6 years of age should generally not use the medicine.If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you should ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking it.

Side effects

Very rarely, allergic skin reactions such as hives can occur.If any of the side effects listed seriously affects you or if you notice other side effects, please inform your doctor or pharmacist.

Composition

The active ingredient is biotin.One tablet contains 10 mg of biotin.The other ingredients are microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, povidone (K 30), crospovidone and lactose monohydrate.

Storage

Keep medicines out of the reach of children.The preparation should be stored in the original packaging to protect the contents from light.Do not store above 25°C.Note the expiry date on the outer carton and the blister.
