Area of application

Contraindications

The medicine must not be taken if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to horse chestnut seed extract or any of the other ingredients.It is not intended for use by children and young people under 18 years of age.The medicine should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding as there are no sufficient studies.

Dosage

Always take Venostasin retard exactly as directed.Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, adults take 1 hard capsule, sustained release, daily in the morning and evening (corresponding to 100 mg aescin).Long-term treatment is possible after consulting your doctor.If the symptoms do not improve within 4 weeks of taking it, you should consult a doctor.An overdose may cause nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.Do not take a double dose if you forget to take a dose.Interrupting or prematurely ending treatment is usually harmless.
