Nisita® nasal ointment

Nisita® nasal ointment contains valuable mineral salts that moisturize and care for the dry nasal mucosa.The ointment supports the regeneration of the nasal mucosa, even after nose operations.No prescription is required for this product.

Areas of application

Nisita® nasal ointment is used for dry nasal mucosa.It is suitable for supportive treatment of nasal congestion, for example a runny nose.It can also be used to clean and moisten the nasal mucosa, for example when the air in the room is dry.The ointment also helps loosen bark and crusts.Nisita® nasal ointment is suitable for adults, children and infants.

Active ingredients and ingredients

100 Grams of Nisita® nasal ointment contain 2.8 grams of sodium chloride and 7.2 grams of sodium bicarbonate.Other ingredients include wool wax alcohols, lemon oil, white petroleum jelly, medium-chain triglycerides, thick paraffin and cetostearyl alcohol.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients mentioned, the product should not be used.

Application

Before use, you should blow your nose to clear it.A strand of ointment about one centimeter long can be inserted into each nostril several times a day.To do this, the tube base is inserted deep into the nostril, some ointment is squeezed out and distributed evenly over the nasal mucosa by gently massaging the nostrils.Alternatively, the inner surfaces of the nose can also be smeared with a cotton swab onto which the ointment is applied.For hygiene reasons and to avoid infections, each tube should only be used by one person.After use, the tube base should be wiped off.

When used as intended, no special precautions are required.However, after nose surgery or accidents, you should seek advice from a doctor before using the product.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

There is no experience that speaks against using the drug during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Storage

The ointment should not be stored above 25°C.For everyday use, it should always be stored in the folding box to avoid damage to the tube.The ointment base can change if it is not stored properly.At higher temperatures the ointment may separate, while it may be more difficult to remove when stored in cool conditions.For optimal removal, the ointment strand should always be pushed out of the tube from back to front.
