Nisita® nasal ointment

Nisita® nasal ointment is a product for the care of the nasal mucosa and is available without a prescription.It is suitable for adults, children and infants.

Areas of application

Nisita® nasal ointment is used for dry nasal mucosa.It supports the treatment of nasal congestion, for example a runny nose.It also serves to cleanse and moisten the nasal mucosa, which is particularly advantageous when the air in the room is dry.The ointment also helps loosen bark and crusts in the nose.

Active ingredients and ingredients

100 Grams of Nisita® nasal ointment contains 2.8 grams of sodium chloride and 7.2 grams of sodium bicarbonate.The ointment also contains wool wax alcohols, lemon oil, white petroleum jelly, medium-chain triglycerides, thick paraffin and cetostearyl alcohol.

Application

About a centimeter of ointment should be placed in each nostril several times a day.The tube attachment is inserted as deeply as possible into the nostril, some ointment is squeezed out and distributed evenly over the nasal mucosa by gently massaging the nostrils.Alternatively, the inner surfaces of the nose can also be smeared with a cotton swab onto which the ointment is applied.The applications should be carried out several times a day, especially before going to bed.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, the product should not be used.

Special instructions for use

Nisita® nasal ointment should always be stored in the folding box to avoid damaging the tube.The ointment contains a mixture of liquid and solid fats, which can change if stored improperly (below 15°C or above 25°C).At higher temperatures, the ointment can separate, so that some oil initially comes out of the tube opening when used.If stored in a cool place, removing the ointment may be more difficult.For optimal removal, the ointment strand should always be pushed out of the tube from back to front to prevent damage to the tube.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

There is no experience that speaks against using the drug during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Notes

For hygiene reasons and to avoid infections, each tube should only be used by one person.After use, the tube base should be wiped off.
