Micotar ZP is an antifungal that is used to treat severe forms of diaper rash in which proven colonization with yeast fungi (Candida spp.) is the main focus.This preparation is an antifungal medicine for the external treatment of fungal skin diseases.It is used in infants, children and adults.

Active ingredients / ingredients / ingredients

The active ingredients of Micotar ZP are miconazole nitrate and zinc oxide.One gram of the paste contains 20 mg of miconazole nitrate and 200 mg of zinc oxide.The paste also contains the following excipients: white petroleum jelly, macrogol stearate 40, thick paraffin, propylene glycol, glycerol 85%, glycerol monostearate 40-55% and alpha-tocopherol.

Contraindications

Micotar ZP must not be used if you are allergic to miconazole nitrate, zinc oxide, related antifungal medicines or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Dosage

Always use Micotar ZP exactly as described in the package leaflet or after consulting your doctor or pharmacist.The paste is applied to the entire affected area with every diaper change and after every bath.Before use, the skin should be cleansed with lukewarm water and dried carefully.The paste is applied carefully with your fingertips without massaging it.Treatment should be continued for at least a week until all symptoms have disappeared.

Micotar ZP is intended for use on the skin.It is applied to the entire affected area with every diaper change and after every bath.Before using the paste, the skin should be cleansed with lukewarm water and dried carefully.The paste is applied carefully with your fingertips without massaging it.It is important to use non-airtight (disposable) diapers and to change diapers frequently.The infected skin should not be cleaned with scented soaps, shampoos or lotions.

Patient information

Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Micotar ZP .The preparation is intended for external use only and must not be taken.Contact with eyes should be avoided.If hypersensitivity reactions or irritation occur, treatment should be discontinued.Micotar ZP has no or negligible influence on the ability to drive and use machines.

Pregnancy

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine.Miconazole applied to the skin is absorbed into the body to a very small extent.There are no data available as to whether the active ingredient is excreted in breast milk.If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you should only use the product after consulting a doctor.Please do not use Micotar ZP on the breast area while breastfeeding to avoid direct contact of the infant with the active ingredient.
