Instructions for use of Cornea Levisticum comp.Eye drops

Cornea Levisticum comp.Eye drops are an anthroposophical medicine that is used for clouding of the light-refracting media in the eye, such as the cornea, lens and vitreous body.It serves to stimulate the metabolic processes in these areas.

Areas of application

This medicine is used according to the anthroposophical knowledge of humanity and nature.It helps in stimulating metabolic processes in cases of opacification of the refractive media in the eye, including the cornea, lens and vitreous humor.

Contraindications

Cornea Levisticum comp.Eye drops should not be used if there is hypersensitivity to the donor animal protein.

Precautions and warnings

This medicine should not be used without ophthalmological advice and does not replace other medicines prescribed by a doctor.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

Like all medicines, Cornea Levisticum comp.Eye drops should only be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding after consulting a doctor.

Interactions

To date, there are no known interactions with other medications.

Dosage and method of administration

Unless otherwise prescribed, 1 drop should be instilled into the conjunctival sac once or twice daily.The exact application is described in the enclosed drip instructions.

Duration of application

The duration of treatment for chronic diseases should be agreed with your doctor.

So far there are no known side effects.

Composition

0.5 ml of the eye drops contain the following active ingredients: Cornea bovis Gl Dil.D6, Corpus vitreum bovis Gl Dil.D6, Lens cristallina bovis Gl Dil.D6, Levisticum officinale and radice ferm 33c Dil.D5, bovis optic nerve Gl Dil.D5, Quercus robur/petraea e cortice cum Caldo carbonico Dil.D12 aquos.and Rosae aetheroleum Dil.D7.The other ingredients are sodium chloride, sodium bicarbonate and water for injections.

Dosage form and pack sizes

Cornea Levisticum comp.Eye drops are available in single-dose containers of 0.5 ml each.The pack sizes include 5 and 30 single-dose containers.

Instructions for use

Once opened, the single-dose containers are intended for single use only.The eye drops should no longer be used after the expiry date stated on the container.The remaining amount in the container after use may no longer be used.

No prescription is required for this product.

Application note

To open a container, it should be separated from the latch and opened by twisting off the flat wing.The head should be tilted back.With the index finger of one hand, the lower eyelid of the eye should be pulled down slightly.With the other hand, a drop of the liquid should be dispensed into the conjunctival sac by applying light finger pressure to the container.The single-dose container should not come into contact with the eye.The eye should then be kept as open as possible and moved so that the liquid is distributed well.

WALA Eye drops have no preservatives and are therefore also suitable for contact lens wearers.
