Area of application

Hornerz/ Corpus Vitreum Comp.Eye drops are used for age-related poor eyesight.They help with degenerative and age-related eye diseases such as cataracts, vitreous opacity and poor eyesight.

Mode of action

These eye drops contain active ingredients such as eyebright and rose oils, which have a calming effect on the eyes.They are well tolerated, free of preservatives and therefore also suitable for contact lens wearers.The eye drops are packaged in practical and hygienic individual doses.

0.5 ml of the eye drops contain the following active ingredients: Corpus vitreum bovis Gl Dil.D7 (HAB, Vs. 41b) 0.05 g, Lens cristallina bovis Gl Dil.D11 (HAB, Vs. 41b) 0.05 g, Rosae aetheroleum Dil.D7 (HAB, vs. 5a; solution D1 with ethanol 94% (m/m)) 0.05 g, silver horn ore Dil.D5 (HAB, Vs. 6) 0.05 g and Viscum album (Mali) e planta tota ferm 34i Dil.D5 (HAB, Vs. 34i) 0.05 g.Components 1, 2, 4 and 5 are raised to the power together over two stages.

Other ingredients include sodium chloride, sodium bicarbonate and water for injections.

Contraindications

There are no known contraindications.However, the product should not be used if you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients.

Dosage

Unless otherwise prescribed, 1 drop should be instilled into the conjunctival sac once or twice daily.Treatment should be completed after 2 weeks.If there is no improvement within this period, you should consult a doctor.In the case of chronic illnesses, the duration of treatment should be discussed with a doctor.

Notes

No prescription is required for this product.Before use, an examination by an ophthalmologist should be carried out.If you have persistent, unclear or new symptoms, you should consult a doctor.During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the eye drops should only be used after consulting your doctor.

Once opened, the eye drops in the single-dose containers are intended for single use only.The remaining amount in the container after use may no longer be used.

Application note

To open, separate a container from the latch and open it by twisting off the flat wing.Tilt your head back.Use the index finger of one hand to pull the lower eyelid slightly downwards.With your other hand, dispense a drop of the liquid into the conjunctival sac by applying light finger pressure to the container.Do not bring the single-dose container into contact with your eyes!Then keep your eye as open as possible and move it so that the liquid is distributed well.
