Instructions for use of Loratadine 10 Heumann tablets

Loratadine 10 Heumann tablets contain the active ingredient loratadine, which belongs to the group of antihistamines.This medication is used to treat the symptoms of allergic rhinitis, such as sneezing, runny or itchy nose, and burning or itching eyes.It can also help with urticaria (hives) with itching, redness of the skin and hives.The effects last a full day and are intended to help you continue your normal daily activity and sleep.

Areas of application

Loratadine 10 Heumann is used to relieve the symptoms of allergic rhinitis (e.g. hay fever) and chronic, idiopathic urticaria (hives of unknown cause).It belongs to the group of antihistamines and is used for allergic diseases that are associated with increased histamine release.

Active ingredients and ingredients

Each tablet contains 10 mg of loratadine as the active ingredient.The other ingredients are lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate and corn starch.

Contraindications

Loratadine 10 Heumann must not be taken if you are allergic to loratadine or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.It should not be given to children under 6 years of age or children weighing 30 kg or less.It is also not recommended to take it during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Dosage and application

Adults and children aged 6 years and over with a body weight of over 30 kg take one tablet once a day, regardless of meals.In case of severe liver damage, it is recommended to take the tablet every other day.The tablets should be swallowed whole with sufficient liquid.If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible and continue taking it as usual.

Side effects

The most common side effects include drowsiness, headache, increased appetite, and difficulty sleeping in adults and children over 12 years old.Children 2 to 12 years old may experience headaches, nervousness, and fatigue.Very rarely, severe hypersensitivity reactions, dizziness, convulsions, fast or irregular heartbeat, nausea, dry mouth, upset stomach, liver dysfunction, hair loss, rash and fatigue may occur.

Storage

Keep this medicine out of the reach and reach of children and do not use it after the expiry date stated on the package.No special storage conditions are required.
