1. What is Stannum Metallicum Praeparatum and what is it used for?

Stannum metallicum praeparatum is an anthroposophic medicine used for inflammatory and degenerative diseases.It promotes the stimulation of rhythmic balancing processes and is used for various complaints such as chronic secretions, liver diseases, depressive moods, neuralgia and migraines.

2. What do you need to consider before taking Stannum Metallicum Praeparatum?

There are no known contraindications.However, it should not be used without medical advice and does not replace other medicines prescribed by a doctor.If symptoms persist or are unclear, a doctor should be consulted.Children in their first year of life only receive the medicine as prescribed by a doctor.During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the medicine should only be used after consulting your doctor.

Interactions with other medicines are not known.However, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking other medicines.This medicine contains lactose.If you have an intolerance to certain sugars, you should only take it after consulting your doctor.

3. How to take Stannum Metallicum Preparatum?

Always take Stannum metallicum praeparatum exactly as your doctor has told you.The usual dose for adults is: Trituration D8: 1 pinch of powder 1-3 times daily, Trituration D12: 1 pinch of powder 1-2 times daily, Trituration D20, D30: 1 pinch of powder once daily.Let the rub dissolve in your mouth or take it with a little liquid.The dosage for children is determined by the attending physician.The triturations should not be used for longer than 3 weeks without medical advice.

4. What side effects are possible?

There are no known side effects.If you notice any side effects, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

5. What else is important?

You must not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the label and carton.The composition includes Stannum metallicum praeparatum Trit.in different potency levels.The dosage form is a trituration with a pack size of 20 g.
