The active ingredient in Stannum metallicum praeparatum is Stannum metallicum praeparatum Trit.in different potency levels (D8, D12, D20, D30).Each pack contains 10 g of the active ingredient.The medicine also contains lactose, which should be taken into account if you have a known intolerance to certain sugars.

Application and dosage

Stannum metallicum praeparatum should always be taken exactly as directed by your doctor.The usual adult dose is:

Trituration D8: 1 pinch of powder 1 to 3 times daily, Trituration D12: 1 pinch of powder 1 to 2 times daily, Trituration D20 and D30: 1 pinch of powder once daily.

The trituration can be allowed to melt in the mouth or taken with a little liquid.The dosage for children is determined by the attending physician.It should not be used for longer than 3 weeks without medical advice.If you forget to take a dose, you should not take a double dose.
