Area of application

HYLO Care eye drops are a sterile, phosphate- and preservative-free solution for use on the eyes.They are used to moisten and support the healing of a damaged eye surface, for example in the case of dry eyes or after surgical procedures.The eye drops are also suitable for irritated, burning, itchy or tired eyes, as well as for stressed eyes caused by working at a computer or wearing contact lenses. HYLO Care forms a kind of “artificial tear film” and is therefore very useful for supplying the eye with enough tears and keeping it moist.

Mode of action

HYLO Care offers moisturizing and protective care for daily eye stress.The eye drops contain moisturizing hyaluronic acid and dexpanthenol (provitamin B5).Dexpanthenol has water-binding and moisturizing properties and promotes wound healing of damaged skin and mucous membranes.This means that mild to moderate forms of dry eye receive exactly the moisturization and care they need every day.Dexpanthenol can also support the regeneration of the conjunctiva and cornea.When used daily, HYLO Care eye drops are suitable for preventing dry eyes.

Ingredients of HYLO Care eye drops: Dexpanthenol, 1 mg hyaluronic acid, sodium salt, disodium hydrogen phosphate 2-water (excipient), sodium dihydrogen phosphate 12-water (excipient), sorbitol (excipient), water for injections (excipient).

Contraindications

The product should not be used if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients.

Dosage

HYLO Care should be dosed individually depending on your condition and the recommendations of your ophthalmologist or pharmacist.Generally, instill 1 drop into the conjunctival sac of each eye 3 times a day.If the symptoms are more severe, the preparation can be instilled several times a day.If you use the product more frequently (e.g. more than 10 times a day), have your eyes examined by your ophthalmologist.The preparation is suitable for long-term use, but - as with all illnesses - you should consult an ophthalmologist if the symptoms persist for a long time.

Intake

Only use HYLO Care if the seal on the folding box was intact before first use.Remove the cap before each use.Hold the bottle with the dropper tip facing down and press the bottom of the bottle until the first drop comes out.The bottle is then ready for use.Hold the bottle with the dropper tip facing down by placing your thumb on the shoulder of the bottle and the other fingers on the bottom of the bottle.Rest your hand with the bottle on your free hand.Tilt your head back slightly, pull the lower eyelid slightly away from your eye with your free hand and press quickly and firmly on the bottom of the bottle.Slowly close your eyes to allow the liquid to spread evenly over the surface of the eye.After use, carefully close the dropper tip with the cap immediately.Make sure the dropper tip is dry and avoid letting the dropper tip come into contact with your eyes or facial skin when dripping.10 ml of solution can be taken from the bottle, which corresponds to approximately 300 drops.The contents of a bottle should always be treated by the same person.

Patient information

Because it is free of preservatives, HYLO Care is particularly well tolerated even when used over a long period of time.You can therefore use it over a longer period of time.In very rare individual cases, hypersensitivity reactions (burning, tearing) have been reported, which subsided immediately after discontinuation. HYLO Care can be applied while wearing hard or soft contact lenses.We recommend waiting approximately 30 minutes after inserting contact lenses before using the eye drops to avoid possible intolerance reactions that may occur due to interactions between contact lens care products and HYLO Care.

Pregnancy

HYLO Based on the available findings, Care can also be used on children, pregnant and breastfeeding women.

Notes

No prescription is required for this product.The contents of a bottle should always be treated by the same person.The eye drops are free of preservatives.

Other

Do not store above 25°C.After opening a bottle, HYLO Care can be used for 6 months.Do not use after the expiry date.Keep out of the reach of children.
