GENTEAL Eye drops, 3X10 ml

Description

GenTeal are sterile, slightly hypotonic, aqueous eye drops containing 0.3% hypromellose.They are used to lubricate the eyes and are particularly suitable for people who suffer from dryness, foreign body sensation and eye fatigue caused by environmental irritants.The eye drops contain the GenAqua preservative system, consisting of sodium perborate and phosphonic acid, which produces hydrogen peroxide in small amounts.This has an antibacterial effect and breaks down into oxygen and water within a minute after contact with the surface of the eye.No prescription is required for this product.

Mode of action

GenTeal forms a thick and long-lasting protective film on the surface of the eye.This protects the eyes and retains moisture.The eye drops compensate for the increased osmotic pressure of the reduced tear film, moisten the eye and protect the cornea.

Ingredients

The ingredients of GenTeal include hypromellose, sodium perborate, sodium chloride, boric acid, potassium chloride, phosphonic acid, hydrochloric acid for pH buffering and water for injections.

Area of application

GenTeal eye drops are used for dry eyes or foreign body sensation caused by environmental irritants, dry indoor air, eye surgery, or stress.The eye drops can be used by wearers of all types of contact lenses.

Application instructions

Wash your hands before use.Drip 1-2 drops into each eye, avoiding contact of the dropper tip with the eye.Blink several times.After use, close the bottle and store at 8°C to 25°C.Do not use the solution after the expiration date and discard any remaining solution after 12 weeks.

Contraindications

Do not use GenTeal if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients.

Precautions

Before first use, check the integrity of the bottle seal.Do not use the solution if it is damaged.When using multiple products on your eyes, keep an interval of at least 5 minutes apart.GenTeal should always be used last.To avoid contamination, never touch the dropper tip of the bottle to a surface or the eye.Always use the contents of the bottle for the same person to avoid cross-contamination.

Side effects

GenTeal is very well tolerated.After instillation, temporary blurred vision may occur.In rare cases, burning, stinging, allergic reactions and eye redness have been reported.If these reactions occur, you should discontinue use and consult your ophthalmologist.
