Composition

Valerian tincture Melival contains valerian tincture as an active ingredient.100 ml of the tincture contains 100 ml of valerian tincture DAB, made from valerian root in a ratio of 1:5 (drug to extractant) with ethanol 70% (V/V) as extractant.A measuring cup is also included in delivery.

Areas of application

Valerian tincture Melival is used for nervous restlessness and difficulty falling asleep, which are primarily caused by nervousness.If the symptoms persist for a long time, you should consult a doctor.

Contraindications

Valerian tincture Melival must not be used by alcoholics.Due to the alcohol content, the medicine should only be used by people with liver disease, epileptics, brain disease or brain damage after consulting a doctor.In addition, it should not be used during pregnancy, breastfeeding or in children under 12 years of age, as there are no sufficient studies on this.

Dosage instructions and method of application

Adults take 2.5 ml (equivalent to half a teaspoon) 2 to 3 times a day to calm down and for sleep disorders, take 5 ml (equivalent to one teaspoon) of the tincture half an hour before bedtime, diluted in half a glass of water.Children aged 12 and over take half the adult dose.The dosage is done using the included measuring cup.

Side effects

If used as intended, the ability to react can be impaired, especially in combination with alcohol.This may impair the ability to actively participate in traffic or operate machines.If you notice any side effects not listed in this leaflet, please contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Storage instructions

Keep valerian tincture Melival well closed and protected from fire.You can find the expiry date on the container and the folding box.Do not use the medicine after this date.

Warning notice

Valerian tincture Melival contains 66.3% alcohol by volume.If the dosage instructions are followed, up to 2.7 g of alcohol will be consumed with each intake of a maximum of 5 ml.There is a particular health risk for people with liver disease, alcoholics, epileptics, brain damage, pregnant women and children.
