Valerian tincture Melival is a herbal medicine that is used to calm restlessness and nervous-related problems falling asleep.No prescription is required for this product.It is important to use the medicine as directed to achieve the best possible treatment success.

Important notes

Valerian tincture Melival must not be taken if you are hypersensitive to valerian root tincture or suffer from alcoholism.Because of the alcohol content of 66% by volume, the medicine should only be used by liver patients, epileptics or patients with organic brain diseases after consulting a doctor.Pregnant women, breastfeeding women and children under 12 years of age should also not use the medicine.

When taking valerian tincture Melival, your ability to react can be impaired, especially in combination with alcohol.This may impair the ability to actively participate in traffic or operate machines.

Application

Valerian tincture Melival should always be taken exactly according to the instructions in the package leaflet.The usual dose for adults and adolescents aged 12 and over is 1/2 teaspoon full (approx. 1.5 ml) 2-3 times a day to calm you down.If you have trouble sleeping, 1 teaspoon full (approx. 3 ml), diluted with a little water, is recommended half an hour before going to bed.If the effectiveness is not sufficient, an additional 1 teaspoonful can be taken before dinner.

The duration of use is not limited in principle.If you take more than you should, continue taking as directed.An overdose can cause alcohol poisoning, especially in young children.

Side effects

Like all medicines, valerian tincture Melival can have side effects, although not everyone gets them.If you notice any side effects, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Storage

Keep the medicine out of the reach and reach of children and do not use it after the expiry date stated on the carton or label.Storage conditions: Store tightly closed and protected from light.

The active ingredient is tincture of valerian root.100 ml contains: 100 ml tincture of valerian root (1:5 [Verhältnis Droge zu Auszugsmittel]), extractant ethanol 70% (V/V).The other components are: None.
