Bronchicum drops are a herbal medicine that is used to treat the symptoms of acute bronchitis and colds of the respiratory tract with viscous mucus.The preparation is suitable for adults and children aged six and over.If symptoms do not improve after seven days or even worsen, a doctor should be consulted.

The active ingredients of Bronchicum drops are fluid extract from thyme herb and primrose root tincture.100 ml of the liquid contains 43.4 g of thyme herb fluid extract and 21.7 g of primrose root tincture.The other ingredients are sucrose-invert sugar mixture, eucalyptus oil, levomenthol and purified water.1 ml of liquid corresponds to 35 drops.

Contraindications

Bronchicum drops must not be used if there is hypersensitivity to the ingredients.The medicine is not intended for use in children under six years of age.It is not recommended to be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless directed by your doctor.

Dosage

The recommended dose for children aged six to twelve years is 30 drops, three to five times daily.Adolescents aged twelve and over and adults should take 35 drops five times a day.The drops can be taken on sugar or in hot tea.Before use, the bottle should be shaken and held vertically.The use is not limited in time, but the information on dosage and side effects should be observed.

Notes

No prescription is required for this product.Bronchicum drops contain 27.7% vol. alcohol, sucrose and invert sugar.The effect of other medicines may be impaired or increased.

Other

Bronchicum drops can no longer be used after the expiry date stated on the label and the outer carton.After opening the bottle, the drops will last for six months at room temperature.The medicine should be kept out of the reach of children.Medicines should never be disposed of via wastewater.Ask your doctor or pharmacist how to throw away medicines you no longer use.
