Optiderm Cream is a medicine for the supportive treatment of skin diseases with itching and dry skin.It is ideal for daily basic care of dry, itchy skin and is free of dyes and fragrances.The cream is particularly suitable for itching relief on smaller itchy areas of the body such as the face and hands.Optiderm Cream is an oil-in-water formulation with 25% lipid content that is quickly absorbed into the skin and does not leave an unpleasant film.

Mode of action

Optiderm contains a unique active ingredient combination of urea (urea) and polidocanol.Urea is one of the best moisturizing factors and supports the skin's ability to bind water.It is often used as basic therapy for dry skin and is well tolerated as an endogenous substance.Polidocanol has a local anesthetic effect on nerve fibers that mediate itching and quickly relieves the torturous itching.Within a week, the symptoms often disappear completely and the skin barrier stabilizes.

100 g of cream contains 5.0 g of urea and 3.0 g of macrogol lauryl ether 6.5 (polidocanol).The other ingredients are purified water, octyldodecanol, poly(methyl, phenylsiloxane), stearic acid 25, dimeticone, glycerol 85%, thick paraffin, hexadecyl palmitate, polysorbate 40, carbomer 940, benzyl alcohol and trometamol.

Dosage
