dona 750 mg film-coated tablets contain the active ingredient glucosamine hemisulfate and belong to a group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory and anti-rheumatic agents.They are used to relieve symptoms of mild to moderate osteoarthritis of the knee joint.No prescription is required for this product.

Dosage and application

Adults usually take one film-coated tablet twice a day, preferably in the morning and evening with meals.The tablets should be swallowed whole with plenty of water or a suitable liquid.The recommended daily dose is 1500 mg.It may take a few weeks to experience relief from symptoms.If there is no improvement after 2-3 months, continued treatment should be reconsidered.

Composition

One film-coated tablet contains 750 mg glucosamine hemisulfate as the active ingredient.The other ingredients are microcrystalline cellulose, povidone K 25, croscarmellose sodium, macrogol 6000, magnesium stearate, talc, methacrylic acid-methyl methacrylate copolymer (1:1), titanium dioxide, ammonium methacrylate copolymer and triacetin.

Contraindications

dona 750 mg film-coated tablets should not be used if you are known to be hypersensitive to glucosamine or any of the other ingredients, during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or if you are allergic to shellfish.Patients with diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular disease or bronchial asthma should speak to their doctor before use.

Side effects

Possible side effects include gastrointestinal complaints such as nausea, diarrhea, constipation and abdominal pain, as well as skin hypersensitivity reactions such as redness, itching and eczema.Headaches and fatigue can also occur.If you experience any discomfort or changes during treatment, you should consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Storage

The medicine should be kept out of the reach of children and not stored above 30°C.It must not be used after the expiry date stated on the outer carton/container.
