The medicinal product Azela-Vision eye drops contains the active substance azelastine hydrochloride and belongs to the group of antihistamines/anti-allergics. It is used to treat and prevent eye complaints due to hay fever (seasonal allergic conjunctivitis) in adults and children aged 4 years and over, and due to allergies to house dust mites or animal hair (year-round allergic conjunctivitis) in adults and children aged 12 years and over. The recommended dosage is one drop in each eye in the morning and evening. If contact with pollen is expected, the medicine can be used as a preventive measure before leaving the house. It should always be used after consulting a doctor or pharmacist. The medicine contains 0.15 mg azelastine hydrochloride per drop. Other ingredients are sorbitol solution 70%, hypromellose, sodium edetate, sodium hydroxide solution and water for injection.
