Lora-ADGC tablets contain the active substance loratadine, which belongs to the group of antihistamines. Antihistamines are used to treat allergic reactions. Lora-ADGC is used to relieve the symptoms of allergic rhinitis (e.g. hay fever) and chronic idiopathic urticaria (hives of unknown cause). It helps to relieve allergic symptoms by blocking the action of histamine, which is released in the body during an allergic reaction. The recommended dosage is: - Adults and children over 12 years: 1 tablet once daily (equivalent to 10 mg loratadine). - Children aged 2 to 12 years (body weight over 30 kg): 1 tablet once a day (equivalent to 10 mg loratadine). - Children aged 2 to 12 years (body weight 30 kg or less): 1/2 tablet (equivalent to 5 mg loratadine) once daily. Lora-ADGC can be taken independently of meals and should be taken with a glass of water. The tablet can be divided into equal doses if necessary. It is recommended not to exceed the intake. In case of an overdose, symptoms such as drowsiness, increased heartbeat and headache may occur. If the dose is forgotten, the next dose should be taken at the prescribed time without taking the double amount. The use of Lora-ADGC is not recommended in infants, young children (under 2 years of age) and persons with hypersensitivity to the ingredients. There are certain indications and precautions that should be observed, e.g. in case of intolerance to lactose. During treatment, side effects such as headache, nervousness, tiredness, increased appetite, insomnia and drowsiness may occur. It is important to consult a doctor or pharmacist in the event of any disturbances of well-being or changes during treatment. Lora-ADGC tablets contain 10 mg loratadine per tablet. In addition to loratadine, the tablets contain excipients such as lactose, magnesium stearate, maize starch and povidone K25. The medicinal product should be stored out of the reach of children and after the expiry date stated on the packaging. The medicinal product should not be disposed of in sewage or household waste.
