Lora-ADGC tablets contain the active ingredient loratadine and are used to treat allergic diseases. They relieve the symptoms of allergic rhinitis (e.g. hay fever) and chronic idiopathic urticaria (hives of unknown cause). The recommended dosage is one tablet per day for adults and adolescents over 12 years of age, and one tablet per day for children from 6 to 12 years of age with a body weight of over 30 kg. For a body weight of 30 kg or less, the tablet containing 10 mg loratadine is not suitable. The medicine can be taken independently of meals and should be taken with a glass of water. If an overdose occurs, drowsiness, increased heart rate and headache may occur. In this case, a doctor or pharmacist should be contacted immediately. The medicinal product should be kept away from children and should not be used after the expiry date has passed. The main ingredients of the tablets are loratadine, lactose monohydrate, maize starch, magnesium stearate and povidone K 25. Side effects may occur, such as headache, nervousness, tiredness, increased appetite, drowsiness and insomnia. People with hypersensitivity to loratadine should not take the medicine.
