Biofax Classic hard capsules are a traditional herbal medicine to support the excretory function of the kidney. It consists of a 3-plant formula containing birch leaves, hawthorn root and garden bean pods. Biofax Classic gently and mildly stimulates water excretion by the kidneys without flushing out valuable electrolytes. It is suitable as a herbal dehydration cure and can help get rid of excess water in the body and reduce body weight. The recommended dosage is 1 capsule 3 times a day, to be taken after meals. The duration of use should not exceed 2 to 4 weeks unless recommended by a doctor. Biofax Classic should not be used by people who are allergic to the ingredients or who suffer from certain conditions such as cardiovascular disease. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should not use the medicine. Possible side effects may include gastrointestinal discomfort, dizziness, shortness of breath, cardiovascular reactions and sweating.
