DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Elderflower tea For drinking after preparing a tea infusion. Indications: Common colds. Indications: In case of complaints lasting longer than 3 days, shortness of breath, fever or purulent or bloody sputum, a doctor should be consulted. Contraindications: None known. Precautions for use and warnings: No adequate studies are available on the use of elderflower during pregnancy and lactation, or in children under 12 years of age. Tea infusions made from elderflowers should therefore not be drunk by this group of people. Interactions with other medicines: None known. Dosage instructions and method of use: Unless otherwise prescribed, one cup of the tea infusion prepared as follows is drunk 3 to 5 times daily, preferably hot: 2 teaspoonfuls (approx. 3 g) of elderflower tea are poured over boiling water (approx. 150 ml) and, if necessary, passed through a tea strainer after about 10 to 15 minutes. It has an expectorant and slightly diaphoretic effect. Aurica elderflower tea relieves cold complaints such as coughs and can also help with sleep disorders.
