Vismed Light eye drops are a wetting solution for the eye that can be used to treat dry eyes and to moisten the eye in cases of tired and irritated eyes. The drops contain 0.1% sodium hyaluronate, a natural polymer that is also found in the structures of the human eye. The special physical properties of sodium hyaluronate enable a long-lasting effect and a high level of comfort. The drops form a stable layer on the surface of the eye, which is gradually removed by blinking. They can also be used while wearing contact lenses. The solution also contains electrolytes that contribute to the optimal care of the eye. The drops are well tolerated and can be used for up to 3 months after opening the vial. The dosage recommendation is to drop 1-2 drops into the eye as needed. The drops should not be used if the vial is damaged or the expiry date has passed. Medical treatment should be sought if symptoms persist. The drops should be kept out of the reach of children.
