Vismed Light eye drops contain 0.1% sodium hyaluronate, a natural polymer that occurs in the human eye and has viscoelastic and water-binding properties. The drops form a stable layer on the surface of the eye that is gradually removed by blinking. Vismed Light is well tolerated and contains a combination of preservatives that ensure sterility for 3 months after the vial is opened. Areas of use include dry eyes, eye irritation and minor discomfort caused by, for example, dust, smoke, dry heat, air conditioning, wind, cold, VDU work or contact lens wear. To use, unscrew the cap, tilt the eye backwards and put a drop of the solution into the conjunctival sac. The solution is distributed by the blinking of the eyelid and forms a liquid layer on the surface of the eye. Vismed Light can also be used while wearing contact lenses. Avoid touching the dropper opening or bringing it into contact with the eye. The vial should not be used after 3 months. Vismed Light contains sodium hyaluronate as well as electrolytes such as potassium, magnesium and calcium, which optimise the supply to the eye. It is suitable for people who suffer from dry, irritated and tired eyes as well as for contact lens wearers. It can also be used to prevent dry eyes.
