Vismed light eye drops are used to moisten and lubricate the eyes.People who often work in air conditioning, drafts or heated air are particularly affected, as these environments quickly dry out the eyes.Working on a screen can also damage the eyes, as we often forget to blink, which can lead to dryness and small injuries to the cornea.These injuries can in turn disrupt the tear film.Vismed light eye drops can therefore be used for dry, irritated and tired eyes as well as for wetting disorders or to lubricate soft and hard contact lenses.

Mode of action

Vismed light eye drops contain 0.1% hyaluronic acid, a substance produced by the body that not only stores moisture but also transports nutrients.The eye drops have an intensive moisturizing effect and are modeled on the natural tear film.

1 ml Vismed light eye drops contains 1 mg hyaluronic acid sodium salt, sodium chloride, disodium hydrogen phosphate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate, purified water, disodium edetate and polyhexanide.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients mentioned, the product should not be used.

Dosage

To use Vismed light eye drops, remove the cap and hold the opening over the eye to be treated.Apply 1-2 drops to each conjunctival sac using light finger pressure.The eye drops can be used as often as needed every day.By blinking, the solution is distributed evenly.

Information

Vismed light eye drops have a shelf life of 3 months after opening the bottle.The bottle should be stored between 2-8 degrees Celsius.No prescription is required for this product.

Application recommendation

Unscrew the cap and hold the opening of the bottle over the eye to be treated: VISMED® LIGHT can be easily removed from the bottle using slight finger pressure.Unless your ophthalmologist recommends otherwise, drip 1-2 drops of VISMED® LIGHT into the conjunctival sac as needed.Do not bring the dropper tip into contact with your eye or touch it with your fingers.When you blink, the solution is distributed and forms a transparent and durable layer of liquid on the surface of the eye.
