Instructions for use of item Jelonet Paraffin Gauze 10x10 cm Sterile: JELONET is a soft paraffin gauze dressing that acts as an anti-adhesive between the wound and the secondary dressing. This allows atraumatic dressing changes for the patient. The open dressing structure allows wound exudate to drain easily into an absorbent secondary dressing. A special weave prevents fraying when the dressing is cut. Dimensions: 10 x 10 cm Properties and benefits: - JELONET serves as an adhesion protector between the wound and the secondary dressing. - This allows a gentle and painless dressing change for the patient as well as undisturbed wound rest. - The open dressing structure of the cotton gauze allows wound exudate to drain into an absorbent secondary dressing. - A special weave prevents fraying when the dressing is cut. - Air and exudate permeable to prevent skin maceration. - Ointment coating protects the wound surface and edges. - Allows atraumatic dressing changes and undisturbed wound rest. - Analgesic. - Secondary dressing (e.g. absorbent dressings, film dressings such as OPSITE FLEXIFIX or fixation bandages) required, depending on the amount of exudate. - Latex-free formulation.
