Levico D3 is an anthroposophical medicine that is used for various complaints in accordance with anthroposophical knowledge of humanity and nature.These include general weakness, convalescence, susceptibility to infections, latent and manifest iron deficiency, circulatory regulation disorders with low blood pressure, anxiety, concomitant treatment for bronchial asthma and chronic inflammatory joint diseases.

Active ingredient and composition

The active ingredient in Levico D3 is Levico Dil.D3 aquos.(HAB, v. 5b), also known as Levico "strong" water.In addition, one ampoule contains sodium chloride as an additional ingredient.

Dosage form and pack sizes

Levico D3 is available as a liquid dilution for injection.There are packs of 8 or 48 ampoules, each containing 1 ml.

Application and dosage

Levico D3 should always be used exactly as your doctor has told you.The usual dose for adults and children aged 6 years and over is 1 ml twice weekly, injected subcutaneously.The injection is usually carried out in the thigh, the outside of the upper arm or the abdominal region.It is recommended that an experienced person learn the injection technique.

Contraindications and precautions

There are no specific contraindications known.However, if symptoms persist for a long time or are unclear, a doctor should be consulted.Levico D3 should not be used in children under 6 years of age as there is insufficient documented experience.During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the medicine should only be used after consulting a doctor.
