Instructions for use of Levico D3

Levico D3 is a liquid dilution for injection.This anthroposophical medicine is used for various complaints in accordance with the anthroposophical knowledge of humanity and nature.These include general weakness, convalescence, susceptibility to infections, latent and manifest iron deficiency, circulatory regulation disorders with low blood pressure, anxiety, concomitant treatment for bronchial asthma and chronic inflammatory joint diseases.No prescription is required for this product.

Application and dosage

Always use Levico D3 exactly as your doctor has told you.The usual dose for adults and children aged 6 years and over is 1 ml twice a week, injected subcutaneously.The injection is usually carried out in the thigh, the outside of the upper arm or the abdominal region.After cleaning the injection site, form a fold of skin and insert the injection needle at an angle.Pull back the syringe plunger slightly.If blood appears, a blood vessel has been hit and the injection must be repeated elsewhere.If no blood appears, inject slowly, then withdraw the needle and briefly press the injection site with a swab.It is recommended that an experienced person learn the injection technique.

If you forget to use Levico D3, do not use a double dose.Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure about using it.

Side effects and precautions

There are no known side effects.If symptoms persist or are unclear, please consult a doctor.Levico D3 should not be used in children under 6 years of age as there is no sufficiently documented experience.During pregnancy and breastfeeding, Levico D3 should only be used after consulting a doctor.Interactions with other medicines are not known.

Composition and durability

1 Ampoule of Levico D3 contains the active ingredient Levico Dil.D3 aquos (HAB, V. 5b) 1 ml (original substance: Levico "strong" water) and the other ingredient sodium chloride.The medicine is available in pack sizes of 8 and 48 ampoules of 1 ml.Do not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the ampoules and carton.
