Description

Real valerian, scientifically called Valeriana officinalis, is a long-known remedy.It was already valued as a universal medicinal herb in ancient Greece.Today, valerian is primarily used for its calming and sleep-promoting properties.

Areas of application

Valerian tincture is used for restlessness and nervous-related problems falling asleep.No prescription is required for this product.

Application

For calming reasons, it is recommended to take half a teaspoon full (about 1.5 ml) of the tincture two to three times a day.If you have trouble sleeping, take a teaspoon full (approx. 3 ml) diluted with a little water half an hour before going to bed.If the effect is not sufficient due to sleep disorders, an additional teaspoon can be taken before dinner.

Notes

If the restlessness or nervous-related difficulty falling asleep lasts longer, a doctor should be consulted.Valerian tincture contains 70% alcohol by volume.The product should not be used after the expiry date stated on the package.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.

Ingredients

The active ingredient in valerian tincture is valerian root tincture.100 ml of the tincture contains 100 ml of tincture of valerian root in a ratio of 1:5 (drug to extract).The extractant is ethanol 70% (V/V).
